01. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the OZStudyAI website and educational platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the platform.
02. Eligibility & Parent Account Management
OZStudyAI is designed for students in Years 4–12. Only parents or legal guardians aged 18 or older may register and create accounts. Students cannot create accounts independently. Parents maintain full authority over the account, student profile settings, and subscription management.
03. Description of Services
OZStudyAI provides AI-assisted educational tools, including an AI Tutor, AI Study Planner, Practice Test Generator, AI Mock Exams, Assignment Helper, and Progress Tracking Dashboards aligned with Australian state curricula (ACARA, NESA, VCAA, QCAA, SCSA, SACE, TASC, BSSS).
04. AI Tutoring & Educational Disclaimer
Disclaimer: OZStudyAI tools are supplemental academic aids. They do not replace accredited school teachers, formal classroom instruction, or official state examination authorities. While we strive for curriculum accuracy, answers should be verified alongside official syllabus documents.
05. User Conduct & Acceptable Use
Users agree to use OZStudyAI exclusively for lawful educational purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the platform to attempt academic dishonesty or submit AI responses as original uncredited work where prohibited by your educational institution.
- Upload unlawful, offensive, malicious, or copyright-infringing content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract underlying AI models or software code.
- Share parent account credentials outside the immediate household.
06. Uploaded Content & OCR Analysis
Parents and students retain full ownership of uploaded documents (assignments, school reports, images). By uploading files, you grant OZStudyAI a limited license to process the content strictly for OCR analysis, homework tutoring, and personalized learning. We do not sell or use uploaded files for advertising.
07. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations
OZStudyAI offers Free (Starter), Pro, and Family plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the parent dashboard. Upon cancellation, your access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
08. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, logos, trademarks, website design, and proprietary AI algorithms are the exclusive property of OZStudyAI and its licensors.
09. Account Termination
Parents may terminate their account at any time and request full deletion of student profiles. OZStudyAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
